Crosstown Media is a full-service Emmy® award winning television and film production company that specializes in poignant and entertaining documentary programming. With acclaimed productions on ABC, CBS, MTV, Bravo, The History Channel and GSN, its founder, Matthew Blaine, is a high-profile producer, director and show runner veteran.

Crosstown Media is currently in production on CBS's hit web series "The Amazing Race: Elimination Station," and recently earned its latest accolade, the 2010 Inspire Award, for its "True Life" episode, "I Need A Transplant." Matthew Blaine's extensive track record in non-fiction programming also includes Emmys® for direction on Bravo's hit show "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" as well as for MTV's "True Life" series. Crosstown Media also just celebrated its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival for the documentary feature "Just Like Us," which portrays the building of cultural bridges between the US and the Middle East through social comedy.

Risa Tanania is a casting director and development producer for all things reality and documentary. She got her start at the University of Iowa with a Masters in Inter-Media Studies and a focus on feminist documentary and left there soon after for television production in New York. She has cast, created and produced for major networks such as MTV, VH1, NICK, HGTV, FOX, Discovery and Animal Planet... including shows such as Cash Cab, True Life, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special and Repossessed for National Geographic. Most recently she cast Battle on the Block, HGTV's newest hit series and she is currently heading up development for Crosstown Media, creating shows for Fall 2010. Risa's proudest moment will be when television (her greatest love) accurately reflects its audience in all forms...with all cultures, colors and communities equally represented. Until then, she will be working tirelessly to get there.
